Luke’s History Of The Climb

Since 2017, I’ve combined my passions for biotech journalism and mountaineering through the Climb to Fight Cancer. This is a program to support cancer research at the Fred Hutch, an outstanding scientific institution in Seattle.

My Everest and Kilimanjaro summit expeditions of the past two years have mobilized the biotech community. Together, these initiatives have raised $1.9 million.

This is the start of something big. Interested in joining this annual campaign? Let’s talk about sponsorship opportunities. Email me: luke@timmermanreport.com. For more on the program, which has raised more than $10 million since inception in 1997, go to fredhutch.org/climb.
